Most events deliver motivation.
Joakim delivers operating leverage.
He helps leaders and teams eliminate dependency, reduce escalation, and execute without the founder as the decision bottleneck.
Make sure sound is on!

A former military officer and senior leader in Tony Robbins’ global organization, Joakim combines decision architecture, intention-based military leadership, and execution systems.
He has delivered speeches and workshops for:
Microsoft
Success Resources
Global leadership communities and enterprise teams
On stage, Joakim is precise, calm, and direct. No hype. No therapy. No generic leadership advice.
Joakim is a international speaker who doesn’t just inspire - he activates.
Most leadership models create invisible bottlenecks.
This session shows how to remove them.
Audiences learn:
Why escalation is a design flaw, not a people problem
How leaders accidentally train dependency
The communication shifts that transfer ownership instead of tasks
How to lead outcomes without micromanagement
Best for: Founders, executives, senior leadership teams, product and cross-functional/matrix environments

High performers don’t burn out from effort. They burn out from being the system.
This keynote reframes productivity and leadership as decision architecture, not time management.
Audiences leave with:
A clear model for prioritization beyond urgency
A way to reduce noise without slowing execution
A shared language for focus, ownership, and decision quality
Best for: Fast-moving organizations, global teams, matrix structures
Let today be the beginning of the next chapter of your life, not the end.

I had the opportunity to bring Joakim in to lead a productivity and leadership workshop for our Partner Center Marketplace team at Microsoft, and it was very valuable for me and our team. We operate in a fast-paced, global environment, with teams spread across time zones and individuals juggling multiple projects at the same time. Our days are full of meetings, unexpected issues, and constant reprioritization. If not managed carefully, delivery easily slips, and the result is working extra hours and weekends just to stay on track. What we were looking for was not another internal training or tool, but an external perspective. Someone who could give us a framework and awareness. That mindset shift was exactly what Joakim delivered. The biggest shift for me personally was awareness. Many of the things he shared were things I felt I already knew, but had not really been paying attention to. That awareness made it clear that change does not come from external circumstances. It starts with me. That realization was powerful. Joakim helped us filter out noise and delusions, and clearly distinguish between what feels urgent and what is actually important. His framework helped us understand how to better give and receive tasks, manage competing priorities, and mitigate urgency by being more intentional and prepared. His approach resonated strongly because it is highly applicable to product management and cross-functional work. It provided clarity in how to focus on what truly matters, rather than constantly reacting. The session was energetic, informative, and fun. The structure, data, and tempo kept people engaged, and made it easier for participants to follow along and contribute. I would recommend Joakim to anyone working in a fast-moving corporate environment. Many teams are struggling to sort out what matters most, and this kind of clarity and framework is incredibly helpful.

Don't waste time.

"You give much more than you should really give. The energy he brought into the room - you have a way of capturing people and making them laugh and making them interact."

I attended Joaakim's leadership workshop and found it immediately actionable. The biggest insight I gained was recognizing how much time I lose to distractions and delusions. His systematic approach to prioritizing what truly matters has already changed how I plan my days. Would recommend to anyone struggling with competing priorities!

This is not for audiences looking for inspiration or personal breakthroughs.
It is for:
Joakim Walstad is not just a speaker, he’s a catalyst for lasting transformation. A former military officer turned Breakthrough Coach and Freedom Strategist, Joakim empowers entrepreneurs and leaders to scale results, reclaim time, and build self-sustaining businesses that thrive without their constant attention.
As a senior leader in Tony Robbins’ global organization for four years, Joakim has coached leaders across the globe, from struggling startups to seven-figure visionaries, using a unique blend of military precision, emotional intelligence, and entrepreneurial insight.
He’s spoken on renowned platforms like Success Resources,
Success Resources Virtual, for Microsoft and communities such as African Women in Europe, delivering messages that move audiences from motivation into momentum.
But Joakim’s credibility doesn’t come from theory, it’s built on transformation:
- Tabbie, a co-founder of a private healthcare clinic, took her first phone-free vacation in two years while her business continued to flourish.
- Lucy became profitable for the first time ever after years of plateau.
- A 7-figure business owner once on the edge of bankruptcy, rebuilt a thriving company to be on a 30% growth trajectory.
These wins are powered by Joakim’s breakthrough coaching. After becoming the bottleneck in his own business, overwhelmed by endless questions and firefighting, Joakim rediscovered a core military principle: intention-based leadership.
He stopped telling people what to do and started empowering them to think critically, align with the mission, and own outcomes.
Today, Joakim helps high-achieving leaders install decision architecture, communication clarity, and freedom-driven systems that liberate time, energy, and growth. His message: "True success is not about doing more—it's about becoming the kind of leader whose business no longer depends on them."

When Joakim speaks, he doesn’t just inspire—he transfers frameworks, unlocks belief systems, and rewires ambition into strategy. Whether addressing a room full of CEOs or emerging entrepreneurs, Joakim’s presence leaves audiences energized, equipped, and ready to lead from a place of clarity, confidence, and freedom.
Joakim speaks from experience.
Early in his business, he worked with a team member who stayed busy but produced no outcomes. That failure wasn’t a people issue. It was a leadership design flaw.
Instead of improving delegation, Joakim redesigned the system. He shifted from task assignment to outcome ownership, from activity to leverage.
Drawing on a core military principle - intention-based leadership - he clarified intent, constraints, and success criteria rather than issuing instructions.
Execution improved. Dependency dropped. Capacity returned.
That same decision architecture now underpins every keynote.

Decisions got delayed. Accountability was missing. The fear of difficult conversations kept the team in a cycle of unresolved dysfunction. "I was working 16 hours a day just to align everyone. I was afraid to make someone unhappy, which was my mistake." Through our work together, Bart discovered that leadership isn't about owning everything. It's about owning your part, and holding others accountable from a grounded, respectful place.
"It opened my eyes to dysfunctions I was allowing on a daily basis. Most of the challenges we had back then are resolved."
